One of the most important steps in planning your wedding is deciding on your wedding colors.  Your wedding colors represent your style and personality and also sets the tone for both the ceremony and reception.  We’ve listed below some of the most popular wedding colors, their vibes, and the seasons they are best suited for.

Real Life Wedding Inspiration: Amori & Richard

Amori

On December 21, 2012 (the day the Mayans predicted the end of the world), Richard proposed to Amori and their love story was cemented in a custom infographic save the date.

With it’s stunning landscapes, sunsets, culture, and good food, Amori and Richard chose to have their picturesque wedding in Amori’s home country, South Africa.  As expatriates, their guests came from all over the world.  Their seating chart consisted of symbols representing the nationalities of their family and friends that attended our wedding. They had people from 11 different countries and each symbol was representative of their home country, for example – American is the Statue of Liberty and Australian the Kangaroo etc. Since Amori is South African and Richard is New Zealander, they called the main table “Perfect Union”. read more…

Wedding Spotlight: A Spiritual Destination Wedding

Katy and Joel wanted their wedding to be held in Mexico at a peaceful eco-lodge location away from major tourist areas. They found a perfect place called Genesis Eco-Oasis located in a Mayan village in Ek Balam, Mexico.

It was a spiritual ceremony inspired by an ancient Celtic ceremony. Both Katy and Joel were interested in ancient esoteric knowledge and wanted to bring back the divine feminine energy. Katy’s ring was red coral, which symbolizes life and blood force energy. Katy says, “Coral is known as the ‘Women’s Crystal’ and is considered to be ‘The Blood of Mother Earth’ by Native Americans and is considered particularly precious by Tibetan women for menstruation and fertility.” Joel’s ring was Malachite, which is a protection stone that absorbs negative energies and pollutants from the atmosphere and from the body. “It also encourages healthy relationships based on love and not need.” read more…

On this season’s Castle, Detective Beckett and Castle find themselves with a 300+ guest list for their wedding. When Beckett comments on a particular celebrity guest who Castle invited despite not liking the guy, Castle’s response was that he didn’t want to offend anyone by not inviting them. Sound familiar?
