My Darlin', Priyanka Batra
My Darlin’ is vintage-inspired, linguistically-inclined, and romantic at heart. This type, pattern, color, and language-driven stationery studio was started by Priyanka Batra (inventor of #Notevelopes) and is based out of Brooklyn, New York.
Priyanka studied journalism at the University of Iowa, graphic design at Parsons-Paris and New York, and typeface design at The Cooper Union. Perhaps most important, her "fashion literacy” which began at the age of five in her mom’s closet full of Laura Ashley floral dresses and vibrant, colorful 80s prints. She spent about seven years designing websites before weekends at the letterpress shop lured her back to paper, prints and vibrant colors.
Hello you! My name is Silvia Portella and I come from sunny and colorful Barcelona.
I graduated in graphic design and, among other places, I have lived 8 years in Berlin. During my time there I decided to give a try to my true my passion, illustration, focusing in everything cute because for me cute is love, the best thing that can happen to us. I enjoy recreating whimsical sceneries of joy, peace and tenderness, finding inspiration in nature, my family and friends and all the simple little details in our everyday that make life warm and cozy.
I feel lucky for working for clients from the United States, France, Germany and Italy and for my work to have been shown in cities like Mexico, Sydney, Los Angeles and New York.
Among my favorite things are to pet animals, go out in mysterious woods, get lost in bookstores, Starbucks, movies that make you cry, filling up a travel sketchbook during spontaneous travel, and watching awesome tv shows curled up under a blanket.

hue complete me, Tory Casey
Seeing someone open a hand written card is one of life’s beautiful moments. I have always adored stationery, office supplies stores have always had a special place in my heart. Picture this scenario, you have spent 30 minutes browsing the card section at your local store, and finally because you are out of time and must choose, you select something that just sort of works, that the recipient will read and eventually toss. Believe me, I have been there time and again. This is the very reason that I created hue complete me. I wanted to create a fun, customizable experience and to make something that was colourful, modern that not only the receiver would love, but the sender would feel confident in their card selection. With a beautiful design on the outside, and the ability to handwrite in your thoughtful note, I know that you will truly enjoy sending my designed cards.

Background Before design, I was working as a pharmacist for a large consulting company and for the federal government. Graphic design has always been a passion of mine and in 2016, I graduated from a portfolio-intensive graphic design program. It was one of the best decisions I've made for myself and I think that passion and determination shows through in my portfolio. Much of my previous work experience can be applied to design - meeting tight deadlines, working in collegial team settings, juggling multiple projects, as well as thinking strategically and designing with purpose.
Currently I'm learning and absorbing as much as I can about design. I love that there is so much thought and consideration behind creating a beautiful piece of work and that it's made me look at the world a little differently.
