Allison, a surface designer and painter, currently resides just outside of Washington, D.C., in a leafy, historic town in Virginia. Her husband is a Coast Guard helicopter pilot and together, they've moved around the country…alot! That has given her an opportunity to observe the colors and shapes of nature in all kinds of environments and seasons of the year. These inspirations are brought to life in many of Allison's pieces. Bethania is a surface pattern designer since she was 7, although she only realized there was a career in it two years ago. She´s Brazilian, currently living in Santiago, Chile, where she enjoys going for long walks, when not at her home studio, working passionately into her projects. Her style is slightly geometric, decorative and nature inspired. She loves drawing abstract flowers, highly influenced by her parents’ creativity. Liz is a self-taught graphic designer and illustrator and a lover of pattern. She draws inspiration from nature and is especially fond of birds and flowers. Eleanor Mayrhofer is a visual designer and the owner of e.m.papers. She spent her formative years in her father’s letterpress print shop. She grew up in California but has lived for over a decade as an expat in Munich Germany. After her own DIY wedding and developing a series of printable wedding kits, she was able to quit her day job and now runs e.m.papers full time.

Erin Dorholt is an illustrator, graphic and product designer. She has over 13 years of experience designing successful products for companies including Shutterfly, Hallmark, Target, Sears, Kmart and Infantino. Erin would describe her style as happy, bright and modern. Gill Eggleston is a surface pattern designer and sometimes illustrator originally from the UK but now based in France. A keen artist from childhood; drawing and painting comes as second nature to Gill. She can't recall anytime in her life where she hasn't been creating something or other and has been in the lucky position of having found very early on her true passion in life - designing! After spending an experimental year at the art college UK, she then went on to study a degree in textile design and design management at the University of Manchester Science and Technology. Following graduation in the early nineties, Gill then got a superb opportunity to work in the textile industry from which her career developed and subsequently included a variety of roles from design and product development to brand management all within the homewares industry. The last 18 months have been solely focused on creating her own design business and broadening her scope as a designer. She describes her work as “freely created, sketchy, sometimes quirky and quite definitely embracing all the nuances and imperfections found in hand drawn work”. Moreover, it is generally, bold and colourful.

She began in the advertising industry after graduating with a self designed major in advertising from the University of Vermont and soon realized that she loved the fusion of practical projects with the creative process. From conception to completion, she approaches design by blending creativity with strategy to result in a fresh and compelling final product. Petra kern is a European designer who loves to create art for products. She is quite obssesed with patterns which are mainly hand painted. She is also a mixed media artist, always inspired by nature, folk art and of course - patterns.
She says: Since I was a little girl I have dreamed of making useful objects more beautiful and meaningful. My love for patterns became more real when I found out that I could teach myself to do them and when I found a community with the same love – love for pattern and design. Petra Wolff has a BA in Interior & Textile Design from the Novia University of Applied Sciences in Turku, Finland. Originally Petra is from Pori, Finland but is now living with her boyfriend in Dresden, Germany. She is working as a graphic designer and as an entrepreneur in her own pattern and graphic design company aswell. Petra is new to stationery design, but likes to challenge herself with it. She loves to design with bold colors and pastel colors, cute motifs, detailed typography and a nordic retro feel. Petra draws inspiration from vintage illustrations, the animal kingdom, nature and happy, colorful moments. When she's not designing, Petra enjoys films, cooking, working out and traveling.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Scot grew up helping his Grandfather in his local print shop. This was the beginning of his love for all things printed. After obtaining his degree in Graphic Design, he worked for a handful of Social Expressions companies where he focused his talents on many high profile accounts. Scot now resides in Denver, CO where he freelances full-time. Scot loves a good prank, the snow, Bon Appétite magazine, local brew, tattoos and a nice pattern.

Ashlee Johnson began her career in the interior design industry with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute in Atlanta. Throughout her college years she studied abroad in Paris, France and at Harrington College of Design in Chicago. Susanna Nousiainen is graduated artist/designer from the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Finland. She is also professional dress and pattern maker. At the moment she does mainly surface designs. Originally Susanna is from Finland but currently living in Barcelona, Spain. Susanna`s aesthetic is Scandinavian simple style but she likes to mix elements of surroundings especially from urban environments. Sometimes the designs comes like glimpse of something seen before and they just have to be drawn into paper. Being a southern gal living in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tracey is influenced by floral fabrics, ornate laces, antique ironwork. She has over 20 years of graphic design experience and enjoys working with color, pattern and symmetry. Tracey’s style is often inspired by everyday things – the pattern on a piece of furniture, lush nature, her daughter’s art projects. She adores elegant, classic styles and metallics. I LOVE design and am a Graphic Artist. I graduated in Multimedia Design and Communications in 2002 in Calgary, AB, Canada. I am a Canadian but I reside in the USA with my Husband and 3 children. I started designing my own cards in 2007 just shortly after my first little boy was born. I knew I wanted to make him a beautiful baby announcement. I had so much fun designing it that I decided that this is what I was supposed to do. I opened up my online shop in mid-2007 and added my Etsy store in 2010 where my customers can purchase DIY digital files for a less expensive alternative to be able to get stunning custom invitations and announcements.

I am a freelance graphic designer from sunny South Africa. I have a passion for design, paper, colors and animals. In 2009, she jumped into the world of apparel design when she joined the Gap to become their baby print stylist. Born in one of Maine’s working class mill towns, at an early age Laurie's parents recognized her passion for art and enrolled the young artist in drawing lessons, a path that would lead to the Maine College of Art and a BFA. Focusing on Graphic Design, Laurie pursued her professional career in Maine’s business world as editorial art director at the award-winning alternative newspaper Casco Bay Weekly, marketing art director at Renaissance Greeting Cards, and starting a freelance graphic design business while raising her family. Laurie works with a variety of media and themes, including ceramics, mosaics, photography, jewelry, painting, printmaking, repeating patterns and web design. Her current focus is turning color and texture into illustrations and repeat patterns, in a variety of media for consumer products including paper, fabric, and home goods. Laurie lives with her husband, two children, a dog and a cat on the coast of Maine, where, sketchbook in hand she draws inspiration from the seasonal shifts of color, texture and light with an artist’s natural curiosity.
