This week we were thrilled to catch-up with our favorite Las Vegas-based beauty & lifestyle blogger, Shelby Vert. Shelby founded her blog Shelby Tristin in 2017 where she has been a reliable source for clean beauty products, affordable fashion recommendations, and travel tips. But today we are so excited to be chatting about all things seasonal, holiday, and apple cider donuts!

What is your absolute favorite thing about the holiday season?

Being able to decorate our apartment and start traditions with Kyle has been very special to me for the past 3 years. Putting up our Christmas tree and watching holiday movies is one of our favorite traditions!

Best seasonal treat? (Thinking candy canes, egg nog, pumpkin spice everything, etc.)?

Literally, the day that Pumpkin Spice lattes and coffee creamers show up in stores… I’m there. I’m also a huge fan of pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake! I honestly can’t choose just one, last week I discovered apple cider donuts and I have to add that to my top 5 list as well!

As a newly engaged bride-to-be (congratulations!) is there going to be anything different about this year’s holiday celebrations?

Last year was the first year our families joined for the Holidays. It made my heart so full and I’m truly looking forward to it again this year! As for what will be different, I feel there may be some wedding chat involved this time around which is super exciting.

Are you more of a plan-ahead or a last-minute shopper?

I’ve already started wedding planning and I love having things done ahead of time. However, It’s nice to get those last-minute deals on flights and hotels for the family, so I would say I’m a bit of both. I am considered a “millennial”, so being tech-savvy and up to date with the newest apps is always a big help!

For others hosting over the holidays, what are some of your top tips for keeping things stylish and stress-free?

Plan ahead! Last year I had our tablescape all figured out and set up 5 days in advance, haha. We ate on the couch just so the table wouldn’t get messed up before Thanksgiving. Thankfully, my mom hosted Christmas so it was fun to split the duties for the first time last year. We plan to do the same thing this year!

And of course we want to know, what are some of your favorite holiday designs from our 2019 Holiday Collection?
