After being together for almost 10 years and living together for over 8 years, Bianca and Tad finally decided to tie the knot. By foregoing the typical wedding formalities and opting for a celebration that was a full representation of the things they loved and were important to them, their Eternal Connection wedding was certainly an occasion to remember. Held on their farm in Michigan, it was a weekend filled with love, shared seasonal fare, dancing, morning yoga, and too many beautiful details to list… all captured beautifully by the incredible Caroline Ghetes Photography.

Maris Events invited guests with Greenvelope‘s wedding invitation design, “Berries and Blossoms” by Petra Kern, to the unveiling of Thomas Family Farm as a new wedding venue.  For the party, they embraced the fact that the venue is a working farm and drew inspiration from farmers markets, wood, metal, fruits, vegetables, foliage, and herbs. The color palette of the event was neutral with the only colors coming from fruit, vegetable, and floral displays. read more…

On December 21, 2012 (the day the Mayans predicted the end of the world), Richard proposed to Amori and their love story was cemented in a custom infographic save the date.

With it’s stunning landscapes, sunsets, culture, and good food, Amori and Richard chose to have their picturesque wedding in Amori’s home country, South Africa.  As expatriates, their guests came from all over the world.  Their seating chart consisted of symbols representing the nationalities of their family and friends that attended our wedding. They had people from 11 different countries and each symbol was representative of their home country, for example – American is the Statue of Liberty and Australian the Kangaroo etc. Since Amori is South African and Richard is New Zealander, they called the main table “Perfect Union”. read more…
