Today’s post is brought to us by Brynn Renee of Dandy & Fine Parties

White-Party-1

Not that I even want to go there, but the end of summer is nearing all too soon, friends. It’s a sad reality, but so it goes. There is a silver lining though… or in this case, a white lining! The end of summer is a perfect excuse for a celebration to see summer off properly with a party dressed all in white! The setting will be covered in white, with guests in their finest cream linens, and white peaches and champagne will be served (no red wine, please!)

I have hosted an all-white party as a rooftop picnic once and it was so much fun! Everything was white, white, white! For today’s setting, I wanted to pop in a little thread of minty blue, too… because why not?! It’s a perfect mate to summer whites.

Daisies and mums are perfect happy summer flowers. They make for a super adorable backdrop. Just grab your snippers and some white washi tape and have fun!

Since we’ll be hosting this white party on the pier, it seemed only appropriate to incorporate elements of the sea like seashells and seahorses.

Pro Tip: Small area rugs make for great table runners! The one shown here is from Target and it’s never touched the floor because I love it so much as a table linen!

Traditionally, White Parties have been under the radar events where a select group of people are invited by the host to the white party and are given only the date and time. The location is then revealed the day of the event. All of the guests bring their own tables, chairs, décor, food & beverage. Then everyone arrives on location and sets their table and the great fun is in seeing how each group does it differently! Doesn’t that sound divine? It’s a blast and a great way to say “So Long, Summer!”
