Question 1

How do Greenvelope virtual / remote invitations work?

Accepted Answer

Choose a design from this collection and customize the wording, colors, and photos in the Greenvelope editor. Add your guest list by email address or phone number, then send right away or schedule delivery for a future date. Each guest receives an animated envelope that opens to your card on any device, with no app to download and no account required to view it.

Question 2

How much do virtual / remote invitations cost?

Accepted Answer

Greenvelope charges a flat one time amount per mailing, set by guest count tier. Pricing starts at $19 for up to 20 guests and scales in 20 guest increments, so the cost per guest falls as your list grows. Every feature is included at every tier, with no coins, no credits, and no per guest charges. Annual memberships are available for anyone who sends several events a year, but no subscription is required to send a single mailing.

Question 3

Can I try a design before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any design in this collection can be customized and sent to up to 10 guests in Greenvelope's trial mode with no credit card required. That lets you see the complete envelope opening experience exactly as your guests will see it before you choose a package.

Question 4

Who designs Greenvelope's virtual / remote invitations?

Accepted Answer

This collection is created by Greenvelope's community of over 150 independent designers, and every piece is hand crafted artwork rather than AI generated. Each design credits its designer, and most are released in several colorways and as coordinated suites so related pieces share the same artwork.

Question 5

Can I upload my own design or add my own photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Greenvelope's upload option accepts JPG, PNG, and PDF files, so you can send artwork you already have or a design created somewhere else. Most designs in this collection also accept your own photos, and Greenvelope's design team can build a custom design or adjust the text on an existing one on request.

Question 6

Does Greenvelope print or mail invitations?

Accepted Answer

No. Greenvelope is a digital stationery platform, so everything in this collection is delivered by email, by text message, or by a shareable link rather than through the post. If you want something physical, you can save a high quality version of your finished design and print it yourself or take it to a local print shop.

Question 7

Can I track RSVPs for virtual / remote invitations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Greenvelope shows you in real time who has opened your invitation, collects responses including plus ones and meal preferences, and sends automatic reminders to guests who have not replied yet. Your guest list, delivery status, and responses all sit in one dashboard.

Question 8

When should virtual / remote invitations be sent?

Accepted Answer

Wedding invitations are usually sent six to eight weeks before the date, and save the dates six to twelve months ahead. Bridal and baby showers work well at four to six weeks, and three to four weeks of notice suits most parties and gatherings. Because digital delivery arrives the moment you send, you can finalize details later than printed stationery allows and still give guests time to plan.
