Greenvelope’s professional email invitations enabled Allscripts to “more easily connect with a hard to reach community in a warm inviting format”. Greenvelope works primarily with the “Giveback” division of Allscripts, headed by Paige Hamp. “Giveback” focuses on both giving back to employees as well as giving back to the local communities surrounding their office locations.

The Challenge

Each of Allscripts 13 locations hosts many events. Encouraging employees and busy community members to attend their events can be challenging. Alllscripts was experiencing the following additional challenges before switching to Greenvelope:

Poor Engagement – Allscripts experienced a low open rate from other invitation methods (emails, outlooks calendar invites, free E card services, etc.)

Labor-Intensive Communication – Additional time and resources required to keep up communications in the days approaching the event (sending RSVP reminders, event reminders, update, etc.)

Difficult to Track RSVPs – Keeping track of responses was time consuming and filled the host’s inbox with hundreds of unnecessary email.


Key Benefits


Enterprise Administration – For Allscripts, it was important for one administrator to manage accounts and check statistics for all the company accounts. Greenvelope’s administration system allows a primary account to easily view all information in a consolidated report.

 
Customize Branding – Allscripts wanted their branding to be prominent for all invitations, so their marketing department uploaded their own custom company designs that could be displayed across accounts.

Data Collection – Unlike other digital invitation services, Greenvelope allows detailed data to be included as part of the RSVP. Event hosts can program survey questions for each event to collect data on preferred beverages, dietary restrictions, optimum meeting times, t-shirt size, and more.

Message Center – The messaging center allows the host to keep close tabs on the event without clogging up one’s inbox,; a major relief for hosts already receiving hundreds of emails per day!

Scalability – Allscripts host very large events for which invitations are sent to thousands of contacts. Greenvelope is one of the few systems able to accommodate such a large guest list without sacrificing speed and performance.

Customer Service – The Greenvelope team is incredibly responsive. One calls and talks to a customer service representative quickly, who is friendly, knowlegable and willing to walk our new account holders through the process. In the words of Paige Hamp, “I’ve worked with hundreds of vendors over the years and I have never seen anything like this. Often times, we request a feature and within a couple weeks that features is already on the site.”
