They described their wedding theme as vintage meets modern with\u00a0rich, rustic colors of dark blue, green and brown, and accents of ivory and metallic gold.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-920 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Screen-Shot-2014-03-27-at-2.24.56-PM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2014-03-27 at 2.24.56 PM\" width=\"850\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Their crafty friends and family made the majority of the decorations, including the\u00a0fabric garlands that hung from either side of the church, tree shaped candle holders, and the mason jars used for their reception. \u00a0One of the bridesmaids was a baker growing up, so instead of ordering a cake,\u00a0the bridesmaids made beautiful cupcakes with innovative flavors.\u00a0Bethany&#8217;s personal favorite was the horchata cupcake.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-940 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/board-31.jpg\" alt=\"board-3\" width=\"850\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/board-31.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/board-31-300x211.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There was a funny moment when Bryan was reciting their vows and said &#8220;I promise to&#8221; instead of &#8220;I promise to listen.&#8221; \u00a0Bethany&#8217;s dad, who was also the officiant, had to feed him the listen line again. Bethany says, &#8220;I am still not sure if he did it on purpose or not, there couldn&#8217;t have been a more fitting line to forget! They chose to send their invitation through <a title=\"Greenvelope\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/wedding-invitations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Greenvelope<\/a> because of its affordability and customization options. \u00a0The inspiration behind their custom invitation design was the collection of mason jars they collected for their reception.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-921 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Bender-323-resized.jpg\" alt=\"Bender-323 (resized)\" width=\"850\" height=\"567\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Bender-323-resized.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Bender-323-resized-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After the ceremony, the couple went outside for a photo shoot.
