Her\u00a0design career began at a young age, when in elementary school classmates would line up at her desk and request drawings of dinosaurs, spaceships, and kangaroos. As she got older she thought, &#8220;<em>Hey, maybe I could\u00a0get paid for this.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>From designing\u00a0beer and wine labels to illustrating snowboard artwork\u00a0and now creating stunning paperless stationery, Ashley is a jack-of-all-trades that we are lucky to have as part of the Greenvelope.com team!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Out of all the artistic outlets and mediums in the world, what do you find inspiring about invitations and stationery?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The diversity! \u00a0I absolutely love the fact that one day I could be working on a traditional nonprofit gala invitation with an ornate gold pattern, and the very next day I could be illustrating exotic rainforest flora for a super contemporary destination wedding invitation. \u00a0I also like the fact that stationery projects have a fairly quick turnaround time so the projects I am working on always feel fresh and exciting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your favorite designs on the site right now?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">As an illustrator myself, I tend to have a bit of a soft spot for illustrated designs, and we\u2019ve had a lot of adorable ones added to the site recently! \u00a0I especially love the illustrative work in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/designs\/invitations\/we-knead-to-party\/red\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>We Knead to Party<\/strong><\/a> by PrettyMeJoy, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/designs\/invitations\/tea-time\/blue\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Tea Time<\/strong><\/a> by Alexandra Dzh.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1897\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/ashleys-favorite-designs.png\" alt=\"ashley's favorite designs\" width=\"850\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/ashleys-favorite-designs.png 850w, https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/ashleys-favorite-designs-300x141.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>I like ____ best about myself.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>It feels really weird to say, but I think I am a pretty nice person, and I think that is the thing I like best about myself. That or the fact that I can laugh at myself &#8211; if I faceplant on the pavement outside work, I will be the first person to laugh about it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Can&#8217;t get enough of:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/IIA1XQnAv5s\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cGooey\u201d by Glass Animals<\/a> and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/3mh2RctlGxc\" target=\"_blank\">Hey Mami\u201d by Sylvan Esso<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>World&#8217;s #1 fan of:<\/strong> Margaritas<\/p>\n<p><strong>People tell me I&#8217;m\u00a0weird because:<\/strong> I like the yellow Starbursts best<\/p>\n<p><strong>My spirit animal is:<\/strong>\u00a0a deer.
