Whether you\u2019re planning an event for your <\/span>team members<\/span>, social group, or family and friends, you\u2019ll need plenty of <\/span>field day games<\/span> for adults to keep everyone entertained.<\/span><\/p>\n In this guide, we\u2019ll share our go-to <\/span>field day activities<\/span> and games for adults. Plus, we\u2019ll offer up tips on how to plan and organize your event \u2014 including the best way to send out <\/span>your field day<\/span> invites.<\/span> Before you can gather everyone together for the fun stuff, you need to get all the basics sorted. Here\u2019s how to approach organizing a <\/span>field day event<\/span> for a group.<\/span><\/p>\n Like any event, <\/span>your field day<\/span> needs a confirmed date and time so that people can start planning in advance. Get a strong rope, draw a line on the ground, and see who can pull the other team over the line. Set up an area with several hoops, and ask everyone to grab one. Whether it\u2019s made with everyday objects or you hire an <\/span>inflatable<\/span> course, this is a good way to get people moving, laughing, and using their problem-solving skills to make it through the course the fastest and score points for their team.<\/span><\/p>\n Keep things simple and lighthearted with a <\/span>bean bag<\/span> toss or <\/span>cornhole<\/span> game. The winner is the <\/span>first person<\/span> that makes it to the <\/span>finish line<\/span> \u2014 with the egg unbroken, of course!<\/span><\/p>\n If you have any budding <\/span>frisbee<\/span> fans in your group, they\u2019ll love this \u2014 but it\u2019s great for newcomers too! Set up a <\/span>frisbee<\/span> course or target and invite people to try and score points for their team.<\/span><\/p>\n Inspired by the popular TV show, \u201c<\/span>Minute to Win It<\/span>\u201d games are a great way to bring people together and act well as an <\/span>icebreaker<\/span>. Challenge your participants to complete a task or challenge with only one minute on the clock.<\/span><\/p>\n The challenges can vary, and it\u2019s easy to make your own up \u2014 like trying to eat a donut without getting sugar on your face, dressing up in the funniest costume the fastest, or decorating a canvas.<\/span><\/p>\n Promote some <\/span>friendly competition<\/span> between <\/span>opposing teams<\/span> with a lighthearted game of <\/span>volleyball<\/span>. This beach game works just as well on a field, and all you need is a net and a ball! Do this just for fun or keep score and award the winning team with a trophy or prize.<\/span><\/p>\n Set up a couple of buckets of water balloons, and let everyone get involved with a game of water balloon toss. Aim at a target and hit it to collect points in this fun yet simple water game.<\/span><\/p>\n If you happen to have a wheelbarrow lying around (or you can acquire one), this classic game is great for some laughs. Invite people to pair up or get into teams to race their way to the finish line with a wheelbarrow!<\/span><\/p>\n Elevate your typical race by making it a costume or themed race. Have participants dress up and reveal their fun outfits at the starting line.
