That is why we are so excited to share that you can now take even more control over your Greenvelope cards or invitations with endlessly customizable backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s something our customers across the globe have come to love, given that backgrounds help set the entire scene and hold the power to make the moment your card or invite is opened that much more memorable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lucky for you, with our recent expansion of backgrounds (included with every card or invite at no extra cost), turning heads has never been easier.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Edit Your Greenvelope Background<\/h3>\n

First thing\u2019s first: how to get to the Background option for your card or invite.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Log in <\/span><\/a>to your Greenvelope account (or create a new account <\/a><\/span>for free).<\/li>\n
  2. Browse <\/span>1,000s of handcrafted designs<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Once you find a design that you like, click \u201cStart Customizing\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Here you\u2019ll start on the \u201cDesign\u201d step, where you can make all of your edits to the card or invitation itself.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Once you\u2019ve finished editing your design (at least for the time being; you can easily navigate back to this step at any time), click \u201cNext\u201d to move on to \u201cEdit Envelope\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Several options are available on this step, including \u201cStyle,\u201d \u201cLining,\u201d \u201cText\u201d, and “Background”. <\/span><\/li>\n

    Option 1: Select from countless curated patterns and styles<\/h4>\n

    Stripes & Plaids, Plants & Flowers, Wood & Stone, and so much more. 14 curated collections within the dropdown means there are <\/span>hundreds<\/span><\/i> of combinations at your fingertips, most of which can be color-matched to your chosen design.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Option 2: Opt for the pre-set designer background<\/h4>\n

    All of Greenvelope\u2019s designs are handpicked by our in-house design team, who work with our community of stationers, illustrators, calligraphers, graphic artists and painters from around the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    For some designs, our highly-talented artists have created a background that pairs <\/span>specifically<\/span><\/i> with its design. These design-specific backgrounds often incorporate artistic elements from the card or invitation itself, and thus are meant to go specifically (and only) with your selected template.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Note<\/span><\/i>: If you don\u2019t see this option, it simply means that the card or invitation you\u2019ve selected doesn\u2019t include a fully custom background, but rest assured the background has still been set by the designer to match your template beautifully.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Option 3: Upload your own background<\/h4>\n

    Already have a pattern, texture, or image that you\u2019d like as the backdrop for your Greenvelope mailing? Good news: you can easily upload it as your background!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Just make sure it\u2019s saved and uploaded as a .png or .jpg and, for best results, save it out at 1920px wide x 1200px tall.<\/span><\/p>\n
