They had people from 11 different countries and each symbol was representative of their home country, for example \u2013 American is the Statue of Liberty and Australian the Kangaroo etc. Since Amori is South African and Richard is New Zealander, they called the main table \u201cPerfect Union\u201d.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1206\" alt=\"newamori\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/newamori.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"594\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/newamori.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/newamori-300x209.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Their wedding had a\u00a0eco-chic theme. They were able to incorporate many environmentally friendly ideas into their wedding, including their custom <a href=\"http:\/\/greenvelope.com\/wedding-invitations\" target=\"_blank\">Greenvelope<\/a> wedding invitation, salt dough guest name tags, popcorn confetti, and the handmade rustic chandeliers with LED candles. \u00a0They created a stamp of their thumbprints in the shape of a heart and used it on all their stationery items, giving their wedding a very personal touch.<\/p>\n<p>Growing up, Amori absolutely loved attending weddings. She wanted to share some of that magic she experienced as a child, so she asked the eldest daughters of her cousins to be flower girls. The little girls absolutely loved it. Afterwards, Amori got a little note from one of them saying that it was the best day of their life and they want their wedding one day to be just like hers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1203 alignnone\" alt=\"amori\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/amori.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/amori.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/amori-300x170.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Amori and Richard went above and beyond to make their guests happy and comfortable.\u00a0For wedding favours, each guest received a white wooden photo frame with their photo taken at a photo booth. \u00a0They also\u00a0secretly collected photos of their guests on their wedding day and had them framed and displayed during the cocktails and canap\u00e9 hour.\u00a0Guests were handed parasols during the ceremony to protect them from the sun. The tag on the parasols read \u201cmay you always be showered with love, please take one\u201d.\u00a0Next to the dance floor was a chest of flip flops. The tag on the flip flops read \u201ca lovely treat for your dancing feet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1204\" alt=\"ammorie2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ammorie2.jpg\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ammorie2.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.greenvelope.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ammorie2-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Both Richard and Amori absolutely love cheesecake. \u00a0After they cut the cake they had the chef create 10 different cheese boards and placed one on each table for people to nibble on as part of their midnight snack.
